The Discussion: Masks
When news of a need for lockdowns re: the COVID-19 pandemic broke out last March 2020 - we were compliant as was all of the world. For humanity - we did our part to stay away from others.
When our country specifically went into a state of National State of Emergency to combat the disastrously sad statistics that unfolded in weeks and months thereafter, we did NOT object to wearing a mask for our fellow citizens.

However, today, 14 months+ later, many states, counties & cities across the country are lightening that load of wearing this type of a PPE in communities.
This was due in part to a few factors:

Evidence was suggesting that SARS-Co-V-2 virus spikes seemed to be tampering off/curbing.

The CDC made an announcement that restrictions could be restructured/lowered.

Emergency Use Authorized Treatment SARS-Co-V2 Shots became accessible in January for those that make that personal health choice to receive one.

Great news right?
Executive Orders statewide should decrease across the country given this news.
We should be able to get back to some normalcy.
We should show faith in the theory of herd immunity and our bodies natural ability to fight infections.
We should all benefit with protection from those whom receive vaccines.
Think again....
Many Governors (including my own here in NJ) across the country are still wanting that hold over you and also YOUR CHILDREN. We must stand up for our kids and say the time ends now! My Governor here in NJ still wants full authority over all your family rights and businesses until Jan 2022! Thats not right!
These Governors say their continuing Executive orders are because of the science and to keep you safe. I don't know how many times Gov. Murphy has said "We follow the science". Here's one of his comments that we heard every day for a year straight.
Yet not that the science indicates we are on a good path of recovery and trajectory for new cases is plummeting upward to less cases of COVID-19 and he, and many others, perseverate, on holding you hostage. This is awful and highly questionable!
